LOVE...
Corinthians 4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails
I think this description of love is pure and true to it's message, love is not self seeking & it always prevails.
To truly love we must learn to love ourselves. First to fill our glass with goodness and allow this goodness to overflow onto others is a healthy way to love.
Love is having the ability to be vulnerable and to trust in that. Having the ability to forgive is also so important and to act from a place of love.
If you are acting from a place of love, then love will always be at the heart of what we are.
An interesting book to read which was recommended by a good friend of mine is called: 'Keep Your Love On' By Danny Silk.
