Originally a prolific club night deep in the south west of England, Goodgroove was known for serving up a unique mash up of disco, funk and breaks. As the popularity of the Goodgroove sound grew, starting a record label was a natural evolution.
The music played in the club was not on highly sought after, it was also not that easily available for DJs and the music fans to buy. The first EP released on Goodgroove was ‘The Regrooved Series 1′ which was a collection of the best tracks straight from the original club night. This release proved to be far more popular than anticipated, so the successful theme was expanded into the Goodgroove label releasing the best tracks from funky club nights around the world.
