This is the first in a series of interviews we are doing via Twitter, they could last forever or this could be the only one. We’re keeping it simple and under 140 characters which makes it easy for everyone….
First up is @lukeunabomber
The Unabombers started a basement club the Electric chair. A club became a fanzine. Electric Chair had a sister Homoelectric, for homos, hetros, lesbos, don’t knows and experimento’s. A fanzine became a series of illicit parties Electric Souls, in brothels, lofts and jaunts to hill top hotels. Unabombers made music, started a label and released 7 compilations.
They are involved in a drinking den in Chorlton that is 1 years old called Electrik and host a festival in Croatia called Electric Elephant. Luke’s twitter posts vary from the truly amazing to the downright shite with everything in between but they always raise a smile for me when reading…

Where do you see the NQ in 5 years?
I moved into nq in 93.its changed so much.capitalism smelt the money and has taken over.in five years creativity will have found a new home
Any plans to open more bars?
opening another bar? i dont know ….i still rent the same flat after 17 years and i dont own a car …i dont really have a game plan
What has been your biggest achievement in life?
realising that love and honour and compassion are more important than anything else
