Good For The Soul

Some may say that internet shopping is killing the high street, well that may be true but bollocks to it as I love Fusshop. Sometimes I just can’t be arsed to wander around the shops getting pissed wet through (as we all know it always rains in Manchester – a myth as Preston gets more rain than us, I digress).

Originally a prolific club night deep in the south west of England, Goodgroove was known for serving up a unique mash up of disco, funk and breaks. As the popularity of the Goodgroove sound grew, starting a record label was a natural evolution.

1976 and Curtis Walker hooks up with a group of local promoters going by the name of The Force. That group was led by a real go getter who was determined to succeed at all costs, his name is Russell Simmons.
